Here's a bit of the history of Rogers Photography (you can skip this if you bore easily)

Dick didn't start out to be a photographer.  He always wanted to be a writer from the time he was in junior high.  So he majored in journalism at Central Michigan University, and went to work writing and editing articles for a big utility company in Michigan.  He was hired by a rubber company in Akron to write and edit publications for them -- that's how he got to Ohio.

Along with his writing, he also took pictures for his articles.  This continued when he went to work for a Canton advertising agency.

In 1974, an advertising photographer left Canton for a warmer climate and Dick took over his business.  His studio was called Dick Rogers' Images and was on Fulton Road.

Dick met Aletha in 1975 and they were married in 1976, beginning a partnership that is still going strong.  Aletha had been a nurse, but when she got a look at how Dick was running his business, she knew he needed more help than her patients.  It turns out that the strong business concepts and desire to serve our clients was the perfect ingredients for Aletha to add to Dick's artistic abilities and marketing skills.

We were located on the southwest side of Canton for 20 years before moving to North Canton in 1999.  We have six grown children and a bunch of grandchildren.  Our studio is located in our home which lends to the friendly atmosphere.  Our camera room is large and bright.  It looks out on our one-acre outdoor studio.  We'd be glad to show you around if you'd like to check us out before making an appointment.
